Welcome to Caridad-DePorres...
Caridad-DePorres incorporated five years ago as a 501(C)3 non-profit and began working with various groups cooking and serving hot evening meals in various location around Tucson. In the year 2001 Caridad fed approximately 90,000 free meals, in 2002 it fed about 125,000 meals, in 2003 it grew to about 160,000 meals, and in 2004 it fed about 180,000 meals.
Caridad now has a new 5,225 sq. foot center, paid for entirely through private funds and continues in its quest to help our community.
